Help Talk Me Into/Out of the KKM Barrel

That's what mine looks like........however, I use the beavertail on mine, though.

Only approx. 250-rounds fired so far, all of them with the KKM barrel. So far, so good... The slide movement is rather aggressive with the Underwood 135gr. 1600fps, and I would like to slow it down some with that particular round. With the Georgia Arms 180gr. FMJ and the Underwood 180gr. XTP's it isn't as bad. FWIW, I didn't know that there was a different offering for the RSA of the Gen.4's??

I didn't order the 135; I got the 155 & 180 in UW. I would agree, the slide speed is there with the 155, too.

In the G4; I haven't seen any RSA, except for the same pound spring but in tungsten/SS. I have been lurking around to see if there are any out there. I seen some replacement springs....but they have ended up being for the G3.

No reason to even use that silly 135gr round.  They fragment like crazy for self defense anyways.  I stick to 180gr and heavier.
