I bought a Sepra holster. I have not hunted with my Glock 20 yet, so I can not say how good it works in that regard. I know people bad mouth Serpa, but I don't plan on quick drawing on a deer. The thing that could possibly be bad about the Serpa is that the hard plastic makes more noise when the gun is remove than a soft leather holster.

If I hunted a lot, and had more money, I would get a "across the chest" type holster.

I just check to see if my Glock 20/21 will fit in my Bianchi M-12 holster. It does.  ;D ;D ;D

The only bad thing is that it doesn't look like it will work with the 6" barrel. I think 5.3" is all that can fit in the M-12 (the stock Glock barrel is 4.6")

You can get a hip extender and mag pouch.

Here is the chest harness.

and the shoulder harness.

I have all these parts.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I bought them about 30 years ago.

I am happy now.

P.S. I think the hip extender can be used with the chest harness, but I am not 100% sure.

I prefer Trijicon HD Night Sights on my Glock 29 Gen 4, but for my 20 Gen 4 I absolutely LOVE my Viking Tactics dual sights.    http://www.vikingtactics.com/product-p/vtac-vsgl.htm

For a holster ... well ... check my signature.  I'm partial to my own stuff!   ;D

I have a heavily modified Glock 20 and recent Glock 29.  Couldn't stand the stock sights on Glocks personally.  Had Trijicon night sights (all green dots) and liked them a lot.  Ordered Trijicon Yellow HD nights sights for my 20 and REALLY loved them....... UNTIL, I discovered Speed Sights, which I put on my Glock 29 recently.

These Speed Sights EASILY exceeded ALL expectations and for me personally, I feel they are the finest hi-vizibility night sights made.  They come in three front colors; Safety Orange, Hi-Viz lime green and hot pink.  I bought the lime green and they are stunning and visually command your attention.  Had MANY positive comments at the range first time.  FYI - they are made by Trijicon.  My next gun will have the Hot Pink front sights - they stand out like a beacon in the night.

I have read about sights that almost automatically line up with the target but never found them - until Speed Sights.  By the way, I do NOT work for them, just love their product:  http://www.speedsights.com/

They come plain or with Tritium night inserts.

Still looking for holsters myself.

Best,

Pat

I use the Trijicon RMR red dot .... works great at night... pricy but don't plan on selling this gun... it is my home defense and pig gun... and the red dot gives you much more accuracy at distance... as for holsters... I have a Guides Choice Belt Holster... love it.  I have a Raven Concealment for my other Glocks and my 1911s... and love them... but wanted leather for my hunting rig....

Dawson precision fiber optic sights with the adjustable rear. They are awesome. I got the adjustable rear so I could fine tune different weight hunting loads but nonetheless big time upgrade. Very bright. Won't let me insert a pic on tapatalk but pm me your number and I will text you one if you're interested in what they look like installed.

Check out the Hill People gear Kit Bag as a hunting holster.  After trying pretty much everything ie. Safepacker, OWB, thigh rig, etc, I have determined they are the only way to go.  Thigh rig moves too much.  OWB means no backpack with a belt, safepacker was ok but quickly drawing is impossible.

I have TFOs on my 29. When I get the 20 I will no doubt go the same route.

As far as holsters go, I'm searching as well. I would really like to find a holster that is not drop leg but maybe puts the butt of the gun at waist level or a little below. Maybe similar but not quite at the Sam Brown duty belt level. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've also considered just getting another El Paso Saddlery 1942 holster.

Old thread, but since folks are still posting I'll jump in as well. I like TFO's if you want a night sight, although I've got to be honest and say I've had more than a few problems with the fiber optics actually falling out of the sight. The new TFX sight looks pretty promising if you like that style, and seems to be a lot more beefy as well. I much prefer however a blacked out rear with a little wider notch and a fiber optic front over a three dot sight. So I like Warren Tactical sights or a Dawson Precision front sight with something like a Heinie Ledge rear.

Someone mentioned Serpa as a decent holster earlier, but if it were me I'd avoid Serpas like the plague. I took a several day handgun class a few years back and used a Serpa only to discover on day one that once it got dirty from shooting out or improvised positions on the ground it locked up and wouldn't have work to release my weapon any longer. I've taken a few classes since then and seen similar problems for others, so that I just don't trust them anymore if your holster is going to see anything approaching hard use. I can't say enough about Raven Concealment though as a kydex rig. Switched to their stuff a while back and have never looked back.
