Honestly, the weak states (east and west coast) will be a push-over. But, I have to tell ya' there will be so much carnage in the middle of the country...........I don't know. Seems like a waste of perfectly good UN troops!

I was thinking that the local sheriffs would do the gun striping. I can't see that happening either. The first deputy making $18/hr gets blasted in the face with 00 #9's, the other deputies decide it's not really worth it.

For the people who don't live near an ocean, could you actually see something like this happening?

Don't worry about the local Sheriffs.  THAT ain't happening.  They won't be able to enlist enough local "anything" to do this.  Count on that.  Before any "outside source" can enter the country and take arms from citizens, The Constitution has to fall.  By that time, better be read up on THIS thread!

Looks like the UN treaty is a no go this time around. They'll try again, and next time they won't make the mistake of picking a US election year to push the issue. Just be aware that they will not quit trying......

They sure do have some kind of never ending energy toward what we know to be false beliefs/pretenses based on facts.  The mental disorder of a liberal is a scary thing.  Getting them to change their view(s) while showing them the facts against what they believe they believe is more or less like trying to get mosquitos to stop sucking our blood.  On the bright side, at least so far we aren't catching malaria from liberals.
