I used a whole tube of Banana Boat SPF 30 today and feel like I still may have a little burn.

9 days left and today I hit a stumper. Yup... time to load up some of that ammo stash! Anyone have a good suggestion on how to get it all over? I put 10-15 boxes in a moving box and besides being extremely heavy for one person the box didn't look to be fairing well! That's just one layer too  :o

I probably have 1000 lbs of ammo to move and can't see doing this way.

I like the strength of the steel ammo cans and they have handles to carry by.  However it will still take many trips... :o

I suppose that is why they use pallets and forklifts! ::)

The plan is to get some 12x14x8 boxes and fill them. At that point put them on the wheeled cart and haul them up the stairs. I should be able to do okay with four boxes at a time.

If you just happen to buy any ammo from SGAmmo, you could grab the 9 of these they have: http://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus/3-pack-pa154-120mm-tall-ammo-cans-used-usgi#  Those are freaking tall and could fit lots of ammo boxes.  should be really heavy full but fit on a wheeled moving truck perfectly.  not bad at $20 a piece but shipping gets you.  maybe check out any army-navy stores near you to see if they have any.

The 40mm cans they don't have in stock are a better size at 18" long x 10" tall x 6" wide, but same shipping cost killing you.  at least the 40mm cans can be used for better permanent storage.

Not sure how much the ammo stash I have weighs, but it has to be quite a lot.   :o :))

Saturday is the walk-through and Sunday will be packing up the rest of the ammo  :o

Took the first load over under the radar  ;D We technically don't close until tomorrow evening, but our Realtor gave us the key to the shed. I took over the tractor and some other outside stuff. The tractor fired right up after filling with gas and seems really smooth. Next week I will have to put the mulching kit on it and actually try it out!
Tomorrow is another load of boxes (under the radar) and getting the internet/Dish installed. It's our Anniversary as well, which puts a hold on anything in the evening.

Happy Anniversary glad to see you're making some headway with your move... 8)
