Hi, Everyone. I'm Jeff from Canton, Nc and new here. Seems like a pretty good site as I too am a 10mm addict. I saw the conversation here on EAA and don't think you need the Elites or the Match to get a great pistol. I have the EAA Witness Compact 10mm in poly and it is amazingly accurate. My only complaint is the shape of the trigger. I also just finished a Rock Island 1911 10mm build and for the money Rock Island is a great gun right out of the box and they also make great starter platforms for custom build.

I just bought a gen 3 glock 29 to add to the 10mm collection I am up to three now.

Congrats 10mm fan. I really like my 29. I also have three and its the only one I carry frequently. Maybe if I had a farm or lived near the wilderness I would carry my 20 or full-size witness more. What are your other two?

Kimber tle and ria tactical ii and I carry both fairly often. My first carry gun was a glock 20sf gen 3

I'm a thinking with 3 1911 10mm's, my hate of Glocks, and my (probably) misplaced trust on a Witness, it's a 10mm revolver next time!
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

You really need to get with someone that has a Witness and fire off some rounds. I'm betting you would toss your 1911's and gain some capacity and feel.

The Witness line is quite nice actually. I have the full-size steel one. It was a used 2004 make and had the problematic thin slide. After sending it in for repair it was returned to me with a much thicker/beefier slide and fully adjustable target sites. I am very happy with it. I also have ordered an Elite Limited Pro. I am very excited to try that one when it comes in.

Wanna bet? Number 1 I hate Glocks because the double stack grips are too wide for my small hand. Is a Witness any better?

You shoot like this you don't NEED lots of capacity.

Just one burning question on the target. Is that off-hand shooting or some sort of rest?

I have small hands and it isn't the width of the Glock that gets me, more the front to back.

I don't like glocks either but they always go bang every time thats why I have one.

In some cases the high impulse rounds and heavy for caliber (220's) might not give a bang at all. At least that is what I have gathered in reading the accounts here.

Ive used uw 165 and 180grn pmc armscor and ga arms with no issues
