I like the all black rear with a fiber front. Get the Dawson front! They changed the design to bolt like factory.

You like better than the Henning set?

Intercooler

I have both, but my Dawson is the old style. I prefer the new style Dawson because of the install.

I started this a while back to see what was what.

Intercooler, how do the triggers compare? One of those most important aspects of a weapons accuracy.
Does anyone have any experience with the Limited pro? Looks really nice.

Intercooler

The Pro is DA/SA and when fired in SA it has the same feel as the Match SA. My Pro isn't fully broken in and gives about 3.5lbs in SA. My Match started out similar to that in pull, but eventually was about a 2.5lb pull when I sold it. I don't think you want much less! The DA pull on the Pro is better than my 1006. If you polish some things up (search on Enos Forum) you can get below 2lbs... That's not for me!

Getting excited. Seriously Thinking of pulling the trigger on the purchase on a new witness. You have a limited too, right? How does that compare to the other 2 models? I don't really like the magwell feature but the whole package looks great. I'm drooling over one on CTD right now. 1085 is steep but it certainly looks awesome. Would have to hide that one from the wife or find myself single.

Intercooler

I have two Limiteds (9mm/10mm), a Hunter and a Pro. The Limited is the top of the line and I actually like the Magwell.

Dave84

I guess my only qualm against it are that my other mags would be incompatible with it. Could you tell me your comparison of the limited to the pro?

Intercooler

You can take the Magwell off and put longer panels on for use with the standard magazine base pads.

The Limited has more front heft with the Cone-Loc (bull style) barrel and a full length dust cover. It's also drilled and tapped for optic mounting, SA only and comes with black and fiber fronts. It also has Ambi safety, square trigger guard, hard chromed and the Magwell. This one wouldn't be a carry piece, but is fun as can be!

If you want a better $$ option with front heft the Match has about the heaviest frame and the same SA trigger. It has a rail and a black slide instead of the Limited hard chrome slide and a round trigger guard. This one has a low profile LPA rear sight which isn't as good as the Supersight on the Limited. You could carry this one, but the heft is I believe listed 1 oz heavier than the Limited. I really love mine and put some nasty stuff through it without a single busted part other than the LPA rear sight.

The Pro will be a DA/SA with Supersight (all metal target), no rail and is hard chromed. This one also has a squared trigger guard. This would be the choice to carry and range visits.

Thank you for such a great comparison. I'm sure you just helped sell some units. That's way more detailed than their website. Thx.

I still want a Witness Hunter. I keep trying to shake the desire but it just wont go away.

Dave84

Haha, you cant fight it! or at least I couldn't anyway. I had my favorite gun shop order me an Elite Limited Pro. One more 10mm for the family. Hope it arrives soon. Think it will have to be off the boat from Italy. Not much besides the base models available at the moment.

pacapcop

Mine will have to be a actual CZ. I am praying to the gods of CZ to pull thru/ sarc. I am 10 Mike Mike spent.

gandog56

Not sure CZ will ever make one since they own the Dan Wesson line to cover 10mm.

I think my next 10mm needs to be a revolver....yeah.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

So this really comes down to the limited at around $1100 versus match at $700
Is it worth it?

Not sure. I just spent a little over $600 on a RIA 10mm NIB. Seems to be OK except for me having to figure out how to disassemble that bushingless barrel thing.

CZ built a prototype.  It's in their sights and the head man said he loved shooting it. You have to remember CZ is the parent company  ;)
