Probably be an EAA witness match

I have a RIA 1911 in 10mm.
Could be :
Another tanfogilo model
??
I'm not a Glock hater, every time I touch one my hand says no not that

Anybody that thinks EAA is it please chime in. Anybody that thinks I should be looking at something else let me know that ALSO

probably 1000 is my limit

Your taste in a Tanfoglio is just fine. At least your starting with the Match.

Intercooler

Yup. Match on up and you are on solid ground!

Good to know. I Called EAA, was surprised to learn that caliber conversion kits cost $589.90. Wow guess they don't want to sell a lot of those.

My next will be another S&W or a Mectec upper. I may pick up a used Glock 10mm if I can find one locally but I'm in no hurry.

We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America, but we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located.

Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

Intercooler

That's probably for a Match conversion and not a standard long-slide. Kind of forces your hand into buying another pistol huh?

An STI 2011 Double Stack or a DW Titan, either with (of course) a Compact Upper....I WISH !
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

So, I almost pulled the trigger on a mid-sized 10mm 1911 Armscor let night, but the 4 units quickly disappeared from gun genie. I hope some of our members got them.
My only immediate gratification seems to be a EAA Limited Witness. (The one with the competition magwell) I don't know much about this gun. Is it worth the approx. $400 more.

Intercooler, you seem to be the resident EAA expert. (no offense to others, I just seem to remember a lot of posts from you on EAA pistols.) What do you think?

Intercooler

It's the top of the line! The features make it a cut above all the others. The Match is the value King of the bunch and not much difference in how it shoots the 10mm versus the Limited Pro or Limited. If you have the coin the Limited is awesome. I have the 9mm and 10mm versions and love them both, but also baby the 10mm shooting the others more often.

bigdog72

I've been seriously thinking of pulling the trigger on a Witness Limited for my next 10

Intercooler

If you can find one it will put a  :D on your face.

Let me help twist your arm

That Limited is Smooth and Sleek and I like the look, except for the magwell extension, I'm sure it's functional but I could do without it!  ::)

I agree. I would like this better without the magwell. I suppose you could put longer grips on it and remove the magwell.

Intercooler

You could remove it and put longer panels on with no problem and people are looking for the magwell if you want to sell it. It makes loading the magazines super easy with it on though.

sstewart

So this really comes down to the limited at around $1100 versus match at $700
Is it worth it?
