emailed winchester and asked for more 10mm

 For what its worth. I emailed them to ask for a heavy 210gr jhp that meets fbi test specs for carry and a 200gr deep penetrating as well.

These big companies work mostly off contract ammo sales, and finding jacketed bullets at that weight doesn't fit the profile for 40S&W a very popular cartridge and for them to bow down to the 10mm crowd would have to be a miracle!
At 210 grains (JHP) you start occupying the powder capacity space and then the balance of velocity vs. pressure vs. performance.
The only way to get jacketed bullets in that weight would be to resize 41 caliber projectiles, but are the noses conducive to proper feeding from 10mm bottom feeders...maybe not.

The 200 grain is more realistic from the 10mm and even the 40S&W...

Therefore a 200 grain  Ranger T design (bonded) would be nice allowing deeper penetration while still expanding.

Tjanks shadow. I wont hold my breath.  Still waiting on hornady to punlish 10mm fbi test data.  I wonder if they even seal the primers on the 10mm load???
