Limited 10 grip question

I figure one of you boys will have an answer for me on this.

I recently aquired a Tanfoglio Limited 10 pistol. A fantastic shooter, makes shooting 1" groups offhand at 15 yards and 2" groups at 25 seem easy.

That said, I dislike the wood grips, they seem cheap and take away from an otherwise nice piece. I ordered a pair of houge aluminum grips that were supposed to fit, and dont. (they are to long, overlapping the mag well area of the grip frame and are slightly small on the rest of the frame.

Do any of you know of a specific set of grips or a line of grips that fit the Limited 10 with its raised area on the frame at the mag well and have actually purchased and installed them?

I would like G10 (I run VZ and 10-8 grips on mt 1911's) but aluminum would be ok too.

I plan to call Houge tomorrow, but again, would like to know what fits from guys who have actually used a product before I order again.

Thanks,

BA

I put Xtreme panels on my Pro the other day and they make them for the Limited:

EAA carries a set as does Henning although he is off on a Battlehook adventure and isn't tending shop anymore.

Intercooler,

Thanks for the link, I assume that the correct grip would be "large frame with magazine well".

Sorry for the redundant questions, but I am a 1911 guy, this is the first CZ platform pistol I have owned.

I have the exact same pistol you show in the pics btw.

Do you have the top one or bottom one in this picture?

You need the full size panels then.

Here you go. I figured I would put it out there for all the owners to see:

J&L Gunsmithing, I believe $115ish for the Xtreme panels, tell Jim Jones that Andy Brown from Louisiana sent y'all, he's got everything for Tanfos.

Tell him you have a Limited Pro and he will set you up. His website with phone number at the bottom:
