I will probably pick up a box of these 9mm's if I can find something else to pair it with. Looks interesting!

Those are interesting looking...I wonder who makes the projectiles?  Cross between Gold Dot and Nosler JHP

It's about as cheap as anything else out there. I ordered two!

Intercooler

They showed up today and after eyeballing them over they remind me of HST's.

Have you gotten chance to inspect them yet?

Look like HST projectile to me too.

Hard to imagine Sig introducing entirely new projectile concept technology.  Much more likely to capitalize on "brand value" by slapping logo on good off the shelf technology, marketed in a bright shiny box with cool graphics.

Intercooler

They look different enough that I think a slight change was made to call them V-Crowns.

The HST has a very long skive cuts down the sides, these Sig-Sauer V-Crown projectiles appear to have short skive cuts.   ???

I think the full length may just be hidden by the metal layer. Would it be worth you trying to peel it off to see? I wonder what company in Kentucky is making these for Sig?

+1 to Hammer1's point:
Expanded bullet looks very similar to me.

The HST's are visible look at how long they are.

I'm quick at getting set up and rolling on the Chrony ;D  It was 18 MPH wind and 45 degrees with zero clouds prompting the diffusers this outing.

Sig-Sauer 124gr V-Crown
Springfield XD 4" 1174, 1224, 1202, 1178. Average = 1194.5 FPS/ 393 LBS
EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1223, 1250, 1245, 1267. Average = 1246.5 FPS/ 428 LBS

It doesn't have the +P rating, but the results put it in the same grouping.

Intercooler

I just found the velocity rating of 1189 FPS. If that is 4" barrel my results are about spot-on!
