On weekends I usually do,  but during the week I carry my G22 27 or 37 since they have night sights and whatever is on the nightstand is my car gun since cant carry at work.

10mm Glocks are all I carry since a few too many freak out when I've got the Benelli semi-auto 12ga strapped to my back with a Glock 10mm on my side. ;)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

LOL :D  I hadn't pictured my analogy with me being naked.  If that were the case I think "freak out" would be putting it mildly. ???

'Intercooler'  Given the new situation in Maryland, that Razorback can easily be carried with a good belt and holster.

No carry permit here (CA wants its citizens to be as vulnerable as possible) but when I carry where it's legal, I carry my Glock 20.  It's surprisingly not too difficult to carry concealed, even with just a t-shirt and shorts.

You're not trying hard enough.  It can happen, even in L.A. or S.F.  It's all about the language.

Considering counties like SF issue numbers between 10 and 20 CCWs per year, it's all but impossible to get a license to carry living there.  I actually live in a county with above average issuance rates, but I can't afford to throw away the 2-400 bucks for the whole process just to be refused and have to mention on any subsequent applications that I was refused at one time.  Couple that with the fact that I am young, and that I'll be moving away from home after school in a couple years (moving out of a county voids your ccw and you have to apply in the new county), it's not something that's really feasible for me to do right now.

I understand what you're saying.  It isn't easy, nor cheap.  If you really want a CCW, and there's nothing in your history to disqualify you, you can get one.  Once you have one, though, you can always keep it, as long as you don't give them reason to disqualify you.  If you move, you do have to go through the local process, but they will issue unless you give them reason not to.  Your previous CCW isn't void, but will expire within a period, unless you get an application in process.  A denial may or may not be bad, depending on the reason.  Most denials are unjust, and can be appealed successfully.  Most of the CCW-unfriendly counties have a policy to deny first, and approve only after an appeal.  If you have nothing to hide, or any real reason to be denied, they will eventually issue.  You do have to choose your language carefully, though.  Although it should be sufficient, "personal or family defense" isn't enough in most CA counties, anymore.  S.F. doesn't issue many, but they issue.  If you are persistent, you'll get one.

Any time I read about the guys in California I am reminded of how glad I am I live in a shall issue state.  About the only place that makes you CA guys feel lucky to be where you are is Illinois.

G32 with Underwood GD

I'm embarrassed it's not a 10mm

I wouldn't be embarrassed that its not a 10.  That 357 Sig is one of my favorite rounds (hence the screen name).  I got rid of my 32 when the ammo for it became kinda hard to find in this area. I still have a Sig P226 (357 Sig) but I dont shoot it often.   Now that I am into reloading, I have thought about getting another one.  When I do, that 32 will be my EDC.

I switch back and forth between a G29 and a Bersa Firestorm 45 ACP.  It depends on how I am dressed.  I am left handed and it is very hard to find a holster at a retailer.  I would like to see a holster and if the store allows, try one one before I buy it.

In my state you have to be 21. That's it. WY recognizes the 2nd. We can carry open, concealed, whatever. When in town I carry the j-frame concealed. When I'm out beatin around in the hills(mountains to some) The G20 rides nicely in my Miami classic II. If it came down to it, I'd carry illegally. I could give a shit what some "suit" thinks. It's your GOD GIVEN RIGHT to be able to protect yourself and those around you. Do the bad guys worry about CCW permits?
