yea I ended up with the 29 Gen4 SF is being phased out and replaced with Gen4.
Besides the grip of the gen 4 being turned into razor blades do you notice any difference compared to the gen 3 sf. Both have dual recoil springs. I guess the gen 4 could take different back straps.

Geezo Pete! You can shoot 5 different calibers with one pistol? Or would you also have to change springs, not just the barrels.

Too bad Schlocks just don't fit in my small short fingered hand!
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

I like the texture but I do rework the grip some on all my Glocks rounding the groove under the trigger guard where my ring finger rides. But back to the texture: I think it is good thing especially with gun that has good recoil and power like the 10 the purchase on the gun is improved. The recoil spring is on but to be honest I have not taken it down yet i still have about 75 rounds to go before ti s gets the thorough cleaning inspection and then will be ready for carry on daily basis. I did finish an OWB Kydex Holster for it though and will make the second one today used mainly for belt carry. I will say the gun is easy to carry compared to the full size SF  I really like the different back straps I am using the M and it makes big difference in handling and allows subjective setup of the gun. The next investment is an aftermarket 40 S&W barrel and mags. I have close to 700 rounds of 40 ammo to shoot up. love the after market barrels for cast and the tight chambers and the Glock factory barrels for reliability they feed anything and everything.

The RSA in the picture is the Wolff Gun Springs dual non-captive 21 lb and it has worked with 10mm / 40S&W / 357Sig and 9X25Dillon.  The gun functions with the 23lb spring set but I find it too tough to rack the slide so I only use that setup for serious testing.  My original factory spring started slipping past the button on the from of its guide rod, but they sent a replacement Big Plus for Glock's customer service!

That the first barrel is the Storm Lake 40S&W, the second barrel is a Storm Lake 10mm, purchased for better chamber support and conventional rifling.  So it's only 4 different cartridges...Some day they may make the 10mm necked down to 30 cal. or actually produce the 224BOZ as conversion barrels.

If I were to spend the money for the 400Corbon and 460Roland conversion barrels, I could change do the same with the Glock 30 45ACP...but so far I left that one stock.

I tried .400 Cor-Bon in my Springfield armory .45 ACP 1911A1, did not work too well. :'(
