A new picture with my old dog Rum.

Rummy's a good boy, but that look on his face tells it all.  "I get you a Field Championship in Canada, I get you a Field Champions ship in the U.S., and now you make me put up with this $#!+."

Prior to Rum was the old National Champ "Rev" who we lost about a year ago.

Dogs are always happier with a job.

My springer is 9, very rambunctious dogs. You could sleep for 48 hours, he could be up the whole time and still hunt you into the dirt. The perfect pheasant dog

I remember the first time I hunted with my brother-in-law with my NFC springer.  He told me I would need a bigger dog to hunt this nasty piece of public ground.  My dog cut through it like butter.  Three guns, 9 birds in one hour.  Never fired a shot.  A cripples that others knocked down that they or their dog couldn't come up with.

Field Championships are fun, but memories come from hunting real wild birds with good gun dogs.  The stories I could tell!
