Longshot Powder?

My locale gunshop did have some in stock. Should I get some if they have it? I have some AA#7 and #9 powder.

The AA #7 & #9 are good powders and are very useable, however, If you intend to shoot a lot over time, LongShot is one of the powders to bring out the highest velocities with some bullet weights.  Given the current supply and availabilities, I'd say YES!

I practice with and carry the G20.  For years I've reloaded my 45ACP and now I am interested in reloading for the 10mm.  Last year I have stocked up on LongShot for my 45ACP and, given the current supply situation, I'm glad I did that.  I have 250 of Nosler 150gr JHP, primers, brass, and I'm ready to start reloading the 10mm for my practice cartridges.

If I could replicate any load I would want to replicate the Underwood loads.  I see the IMR800X loads that Underwood uses (thanks to The_Shadow) but I do not see a LongShot load for the 150 or 155 grain bullets.  So did I just miss it on my search?  Is LongShot a good powder for 150-155gr bullets and if so, can you direct me to the load data thread?

Here is some data on the 155gr Gold Dots from Georgia Arms ammo, they were loaded to 1375 fps with 9.6 grains LongShot, and you could probably push the 150's with a little more if you wanted.  You could push to 9.8 and possible 10.0 grains if the G-20 is setup to handle the Underwood stuff.

Double tap had 9.6 grains LongShot under the 165 grain Remington Golden Sabers listed at 1450 fps.

I would probably load to 9.8 with a COAL of 1.2500" which would be about 1425-1435 fps.

my favorite longshot 10mm load is 9.0g with an average velocity of 1180.  It can go alot hotter however I enjoy plinking with this load.  Stock G20c, xtreme 180g, WLP primers, range brass.
