picked it up last Saturday went out this morning first time shooting it. first shot fine second shot slide jammed open. 30 minutes of pounding the heel of my hand on the slide to get it off the frame it was that tight. it would slide on about an inch than start to get snug. poured gun oil on slide and frame and slowly worked the slide back and forth till there was no catch. about an hour. 100 rounds later had to bump the slide a couple of times with my thumb not hard just a bump. so far so good. picture to big wont let me post it

Same issue. They are tight... tight! Here is my post from when I purchased mine.

Take it apart and work it with grease for about an hour until it doesn't catch any. Then move to oil for about 15 minutes. Clean and go shoot again!

I about threw mine down the range I was so pissed!  :o

hnusz

about tossed mine too. cleaned and lubed last nite going out in a couple hours see how it does. will make sure to take cleaning kit with me every time I go to range.

Intercooler

Did it slide easily with just the slide and frame... no lube? If it didn't, I would work it until it's really easy moving. It might hang every so often unless you are shooting some stout ammo. Hope it works well for you and report back after you go  8)

hnusz

yep it moved easily. had to use the thumb of my hand holding the gun to bump the slide in the last quarter inch not much pressure little bump six times in a hundred rounds. other than that it ran fine. be a while before I get to shoot it again only ammo I can get local is pmc man that stuff is dirty wont do that again. my reloading equipment should be in Friday just need bullets. would like 180s but all they have at the gun shop is 165s. probably get them got to be better than pmc.

445 supermag

If you want REAL 10mm ammo check out underwood ammo.  Great stuff and it's for real 10mm.

best of luck with your DW

Get a Lee Factory Crimp die for any calibers you have match barrels for, like a DW. It makes feeding 1000% better. If you have a Colt or a Springfield with a sloppy chamber, no need.

hnusz

got a factory crimp die with each set. loaded 50 rounds with weighing each round with scale so slow picked up a used powder measure rcbs uniflow 50 bucks goingto try it this morning.

hnusz

powder measure makes things move faster still kinda slow just starting out and a little ocd but that's ok. figured out that until I get done remodeling house not going to have the time that I need to reload. so it will be store bought ammo for awhile. told that to wife scored 200 rounds 9mm first time she ever bought me any ammo. guy behind counter asked if I wanted 200 rounds for the .45 maybe next time. going out this morning got the 10mm back from dw Wednesday they oil lapped and opened breach face under extractor. 700 rounds still not going into battery every time hope this fixes it.
