Loading 125 grn JHP & 130 JHP 10mm

I have 125 Grain JHP & 130 Grain JHP that I would like to load with power pistol. I have not been able to find any load data for this bullet weight. Do you think it would be safe to use data from 135 JHP ?? Looking for some advise.. I use new Starline brass, nickel or brass I have Win,CCI or Rem primers..

Thanks Shadow, I have the same data, my question is can I use the 135 data for 125 bullet weights?? Sounds like I can..

Yes! The data for the 135 can. However, If these are solid copper bullets, they will be longer in length than the lead core jacketed counterpart. The solid copper bullets being longer the charges would need to be adjusted as they occupy case capacity.

You could probably push even higher load charges as the pressure values are still low for the 135gr. The pull-down I did of the Buffalo Bore showed 11.0 grains of PP highly compressed under the Barnes 155 TAC-XP all copper.

So it seems the Power Pistol is somewhat forgiving! I like the Power Pistol powder and am looking forward to testing the 10mm with Alliant's new BE-86 when I can grab a can!

Just curious to see what kind of velocity they will do. I load bullet weights from 135 up to 180 I also have a chronograph. Most of my 10's are S&W, I have all the models. I also have a Glock 20 ,29. I do not care for the 20 the 29 is a nice gun.

Yeah, I got one problem squeezing max velocity. I haven't found any recipe yet that the fastest is the most accurate. I'm a firm believer placement is more important than wallop.

I figured since I reload and the S&W can handle hot loads I thought it would be interesting to see just what I could come up with. it also helps that I have a chronograph. I am really interested in trying Hodgdon CFE pistol when it becomes available. Looks like it will work with most of the handguns calibers I load. Since I retired last year I now have the time to do all sorts of things I did not have the time to do in the past.
