Has anyone ever loaded the X-Treme 220 ? All The load data I have only goes to 200. I tried a couple different loads with Unique & Accurate #7. They all were to hot or to week.  Thanks

10MM -
I have data for a 230 gr cast that will work for a 220 gr plated.
Start at AA7 - 9.0gr =1050 , 6" barrel .  MAX was 10.0 gr = 1130 fps
If you need more power you need a different cartridge. :o

Thanks Sean. I'm bad with abbreviations LOL Does the AA7 mean Accurate #7 ?  ;D

Ironically it doesn't seem a true 230gr exists.

I had mountainmolds.com make me a 230gr LFNGC ,3 cavity mould that shoots very good in my STI 10MM  at 1130 fps and the bullet shoots very well at 1900 fps out of a TC G2 Contender -13" barrel ,401 GNR (44 Mag necked down to 10MM). Weight as cast is 232 gr.

Thanks Everyone. I just got a new Rock Island Armory 10mm. We hunt hogs a lot here in Fl. Slip hunting thru palmettos. The Rock Island has a bull barrel in it so I'm hoping it will handle what I want. If anyone has any loads they would like to share I would love to try them out. That's why I'm looking at 220 and up. Most of the time I can get within 20 yards or less. They get mad sometimes and make the shot point blank. lol. I'm willing to try different powders & bullets to get the job do. Thanks again everyone and I'll be looking for some more loads.

Deerslayer.  I think you would be happy with any HC bullet of 200 gr at about 1200 fps.  Should be enough for any hog you come across.

best of luck
