I have nothing against 1911's. I own a nice and reliable Ed Brown that I will never trade off. For me capacity is king and I see nothing wrong with the Grip of my 10mm Glocks or My EAA Witness. Just my 2 cents.

I don't know. When every single Glock I've eber handled seemed like I was hoding a brick with a bad angled piece of sewer pipe stuck into it.

I just like the feel of a 1911.

Do this simple test, take a Glock, and without aiming point it at your target. Lock your arm and then peer down the sights. Every Glock I did this with was pointed way high. I do it with a 1911, and them sights is pretty well lined up right on the money. So in a SHTF situation, I would trust my 1911 WAY more.

I agree Dog
With your Eyes closed, hold a CZ75 out as if to aim it with only your Mind's Eye
Open your Eyes, you're so close to where you'd want to be aiming with Eyes open
Try that with a few Pistols, and see what you find
A lot of bad Grip Angles out there
And I'll bet most are Poly Framed Pistols too
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

I have tried this multiple times with all three platforms.  Always works out about right for me no matter which of my guns I pick up.

That said, the grip is different on each gun.  But each gun's natural geometry mean a different grip is ideal.  I guess years of shooting and dry fire have just made them each so natural I don't notice or consciously think about it anymore.

While I own both, ABSOLUTELY 1911. I cant articulate why the 1911 feels so much better to shoot than my g20, it just does. I shoot the 1911 so much better than the block. For carry the 1911 gets carried 90% of the time while the g20 sees vary little carry time. Capacity is relevant in a firefight; but since I haven't been involved in one in quite some time I comfortable with my 8+1 and 2 backup mags.

All I can say is it's a personal choice. They just feel wrong to me, a 1911 feels so right.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
