I got the idea and info from the S&W forum, this is something that was done a few years ago by a member there, his screen name is Bad_Man_One, I'm sure some of you know who he is.
I have a S&W CS40 that I had the barrel reamed to 10mm. I sent the barrel to the gentleman Shadow recommended and I'm pleased with the work. The cost, workmanship and turnaround time were all excellent.
I drilled out the spot welds on the magi to remove the spacer so the 10mm rounds would fit and I installed a 10mm follower.
I have about 50 rounds through it with zero issues, it shoots and handles great. I have not put any hot ammo like Underwood through it because I'm still looking for a heavier recoil spring.

Sweet little gun!  I'm glad to hear Mr. Van was able to make your chamber for you, the gun looks great, it is now very unique.  Do you still have a 40S&W barrel for it?  Or did you just sacrifice the factory barrel for the project?  That short barrel may benefit from loads using 800X, Power Pistol and even some other faster powders

Oh yes, Bad_Man_One, he is a nice guy, I have 4 barrels for my S&W10XX guns on order with him, he has been dealing with some personal things and is trying to get back into a shop and use the CNC machines to finish them.  I communicate with him via e-mails almost daily passing various jokes and news.

  Sprinco lists a 4" version

Alan could probably retro one to fit it even if it's < 4".

Very nice setup. How accurate is it at 10-15 yards.

I was only shooting at an 8" circle of AR500 and an empty 20lb propane tank that I have hanging from a chain attached to a strap between two trees, I like it because it's roughly the size of a torso. I plan to put a bullseye target up when it gets a little warmer, there calling for snow tonight.  :o

That's a neat idea. I'd love to have one of those in 9mm.

Yankee, better get the wood stacked up, calling for us to get up to 12", my wife will be extremely pleased! Ive got to work though, but I do love driving through it at night. If I get a chance, I'm gonna track down some rabbits with the Para and get some!

After five decades of driving in it I don't mind it but it's all the other people who only see it once or twice a year that scare me.  :o
