Here's a couple of my favorites:

I bought one nib in '89. Great shooter but sold it when the baby needed shoes, found the 10 and ain't looked back.

Always loved them, but never owned one. It would be high on my list if enough resources were available!

Love the hi power, I have a mklll, and a inglis, the inglis was my first handgun. I bought it at a pawn shop outside of ft bragg in 91, I also bought 1000 rounds of  surplus 9mm at the same time. Still have 400 rounds of it, found out later it was l7a1 british . I chronoed it once, 124 gr fmj at 1300 fps, smokin ammo. My mklll, has had a little bit done to it by novak

I have an FN Hi Power...wearing Crimson Trace laser grips.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

!924 Colt, and BHP. The late Austin Behlert did the custom work on both pistol's.

Big fan. Always wanted one. The best feeling pistol I have ever held. Too bad they got so expensive.

I've had several over the years but my favorite are the .40 S&W models, they have the added ability to be barreled in .357 SIG.

I took a pair of 40 Hi Powers to the range late one afternoon and when I got home I set about the usual cleaning regimen, I'd lay one Hi Power on the left side and the other on the right. Theoretically parts shouldn't get mixed up between the two guns by following that routine, or so I thought.

I don't recall what was on the TV at the time but it distracted me for a split second as I went to slide the top end of the gun from the left hand side onto the gun from the right hand side. I knew instantly that I was about to install the wrong parts but out of curiosity I did it anyway. You can imagine my surprise when the wrong combination of parts came together with such tight tolerances and smoothness. I had a feeling what the other combination would be but it was worse, I kid you not it felt like a box of marbles rattling around.

I took both Hi Powers back out to the range because I had to see what the accuracy was like after the parts swap. On the one hand the sweet one turned out to be laser guided, I swear. The other one was fairly sloppy and exhibited only mediocre accuracy. When I called to explain what had transpired to my shooting buddy, he decided for some odd reason that he had to have the goofy one and I sold it to him.

Here's that pair of .40's. The bottom one was fitted with C&S sear, hammer and wide trigger, plus a set of checkered Hogue Kingwood grips. The .357 SIG barrel shown sticking out of the goofy one was fit to sweet one at a later date.

I'm sure that I'm not the first Hi Power owner to own loose fitting grips, so when Hogue came out with their G10 grips I snagged a set of black & gray ones with Piranha checkering to try on my newly found favorite sidearm. The G10's are thinner than Hogue's wood grips and feel much better during shooting sessions.

William, I always wanted a Browning Hi-Power Practical in .40 S&W.  It's always been one of those pistols, that always seemed to elude me.
