Sounds good, I hope it actually works. If anyone has seen an artery cut I don't see how it can be stopped without a clamp of sorts. It's bad but your body does help itself naturally with traumatic injuries somewhat.

I've been instructed tampons for the little holes, maxipads for the big ones.  They are wrapped in sterile packaging, absorbent, quite inexpensive, and commonly available.

Yes that has been taught in first aid for many years.... :D
