how often to change the safety plunger spring

how often do you or should you change your safety plunger spring?

i have no idea but my g20 is now 22 years old. for safety im going to change it.

I have no idea either. Cheap part & easy to replace. I keep one of these around http://www.glockstore.com/glock-survival-parts-kit as well as some other parts that could potentially break or wear out like extractors & trigger housing with ejector. So far haven't needed anything but mine aren't over 20 years old.
