Current prices of commercial ammo

People in business do have to make a profit and the liabilities and all the cost of production do add in to the prices.  Fed and Local taxes drive many out of business as they all want their cut.  If I had to buy commercial stuff it would be from Underwood as his quality vs. cost with premium bullets has shown to be better than most.  :D

However Handloading was my logical decision way back in the mid 70's...I knew I could put together ammo just as good, if not better, for my own guns.  Add into that casting my own bullets, it has been an investment that is still paying dividens!  ;D

Buffalo Bore and DoubleTap could exit stage left and I would be okay with that.

These were my opinions as we are entitled to. Please don't pick them apart as I wouldn't pick yours apart. Thanks in advance.

:-[  I'm sorry for rubbing you the wrong way.  I was only putting forth my own viewpoint that I would like to believe included valid merit toward some scenarios.  My thoughts behind my post were not to pick your post apart, but rather to add insight toward anyone (not necessarily you even if some of it could be construed that way) who hadn't realized what I posted.  I also would encourage you to add insight to any post I post where you see fit as I also agree we are entitled to our opinions and shouldn't be walking on pins and needles wondering when it's okay to post any reasonable thought in the direction of another.  I certainly had no intention of making it sound like I was belittling you if that's the way you took it.  No hard feelings.  Cheers.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Never have liked the quote feature of a board and I have never used it. When you see it, 99% of the time its someone picking apart a response to their liking. I don't waffle on my opinions so pointless to try.
