download private messages as XML?

As a suggestion, it would be nice to have the ability to download private messages as XML, especially in light of the classifieds.

As a rule I typically save all of the relevant correspondence whenever I sell something... just in case I need it at some point ;-)

I checked around a bit for this yesterday.  It doesn't appear to be a standard feature in the 2.X version of the software this forum uses.

Yeah.. I saw a couple of add-ons that all had spotty reviews.  None seemed to break anything, but they didn't get great reviews on the user friendly side either.

You may want to ping Grim Reaper.  Moderators can't apply system patches or add-ons.

I'm looking into this, but the only mods I see are for SMF 1.0, including the one posted above, we are using SMF 2.0.

If you read through to the end of the thread, it seems users have installed it on 2.0.2
