Seriously guys...I come here to relax and talk about 10mm guns, ammo, and other things I enjoy. And those of us who know me will also know that I like a good, heated debate every once in a while. But the anti-cop crap here all the time is getting old.

If anyone is of the same opinion feel free to chime in. If not, you can chime in as well. Perhaps the problem is me and not others, and if this is the case I will move on without further issue.

  Yup, there is defiantly a patter here.
A pattern of the LE Community continually abusing it's power and violating our Constitutional Rights, especially our Second Amendment Rights.

If you feel posting the LEO abuses across this Country is trolling or is  upsetting your "relaxation".  Then don't read my posts.

Facts are Facts and if you feel I must be muzzled so you can escape these facts then by all means petition the Mods to have me banned.  Sticking your head in the sand so you can relax isn't going to change the facts.

You are correct and I don't read your posts anymore. But every time I log onto the Discussion forum I have to see the titles of what you post on here, and like I said it's getting old.

If you want my opinion, you should take your paranoid tin foil hat nonsense to a forum dedicated to that sort of thing as this is a gun board and more specifically a 10mm gun board. But I do understand that my opinion is only one, and I am willing to let the membership here decide.

Don't mind. Whatever is posted i will due my own due deligence on a post by post bases. I will not take verbatim simply because of a post, I would not do that on alot of issues. I will agree or not agree and state my rebuttle.But like i said in the past to the poster, be under no delusion that somehow laws applied to the books will not be enforced, weather the poster agrees or not that law enforcement in it's entirity will somehow disregard laws. It's a discretion by members of the profession. And there will be few IMHO.

Unless the mods object I don't see a problem. We all have seen/read posts we disagree with, sometimes strongly. That's the nature of a free society. I just ignore certain posts.

The fact that the LE Community is no longer free to do as they please with the use of "Dash Cams" and personal cell phones video capability around every corner?

The fact that your Brothers in Blue are actually capable of such dirty deeds?

The fact that forums and the Internet have bypassed the MSM and the abuse of power and the violation of Constitutional Rights is not so easily swept under the rug?

Or is it my spelling and Grammar?

Steve might be one you add to your ignore list and nothing he posts will show for you. It's nice to hear good and bad on the subject. Maybe some people just seek out all the bad

Well to me, I see enough of the stuff in my other news sources, I rarely participate in these discussions.
Personally there are some rotten eggs in many departments, their personal lives are also out of order and they bring that baggage to work. Eight out of ten officers' marriages fail for one reason or another, bringing yet more personal grief to the mix.  Not to mention alcohol abuse, and other substances, that fuel the aggressions.

Law Enforcement is a demanding job, and it can take its toll on some individuals, it is demeaning to themselves and their departments.  Evals don't always pinpoint the people most likely to be abusive or obsessive compulsive.

Now as this relates to the forum, personally I feel that bring the info as news is OK, but to start bashing members one way or the other trying to stress a point is senseless and not need here.  If it gets offensive we may actually see a thread closed if the controversy gets out of hand!  This forum has been one of the best forums I've been associated with, whereas other forums have had continuous trouble makers and instigators, some being banned, or reprimanded.

If actions are to be taken, I'm sure they will be swift and with a consensus of the forums owner and/or the moderators.  Those are not the buttons you want to push!

Having been in law enforcement, I've seen bad & good overseas & in the US. Just like in any organization there are people well trained, methodical, & reasonable. Then there are the others.

I've had friends arrested unjustly (and got a good settlement out of it). That incident was much like Steve4102's post http://10mm-firearms.com/general-discussion/man-sues-cops-over-legal-carry/. I've also personally seen bad stops & officers who aren't familiar with the laws & how the courts intrepret them.

There is also always two sides to the news & rarely do all the facts get printed or spoken.

Moderator hat on.  If you feelings are on your arms, roll down your sleeves and put on a coat.  And, read ALL my post before you go off.  And if you wanna go off on me, send me a PM.  The whole forum doesn't need to hear our spat.

Steve4102, your political views are not going to generally be popular, and your manner of conveying them doesn't help.  Thats all there is too it.  I am not weighing in on the rightness or wrongness of what you say, just saying most people aren't going to agree. 

Further, I recognize that you are exercising your free speech here to try to raise awareness of an issue that is very important to you.

4949shooter, I can also see your point of view.  There have been a barrage of these posts in recent days.  Reviewing Steve4102's profile, the last several days/weeks have been general discussion heavy.  And as such I see that it can put you on edge.

Unfortunately there isn't alot I feel like I oughta do as a mod.  Steve4102 may trolling, but he may just be trying to push a message he finds important.  He limits his political posts to the appropriate forum, and generally doesn't personally attack people, but ideas.

Luckily, technology might offer a solution.  In each of our profiles, there is a setting to ignore users.  This will hide all the users posts, saving us from having read them.

4949, you probably wanna add Steve4102 there.  Once you do when you hit one of his posts, you will get a message that you have ignored the user, but a link to enable you to read that post if you want.  Best of all worlds.  Topics you view as troll topics you can ignore, those that you think might have merit you can peek at.

On a further note.  In the future if a member has a beef with another member, I would ask that they contact a moderator by PM and discuss the situation with them.  Heck, you can PM us all.  That will help keep everyone feeling a little better about each other.

Who really believes what is printed anyway?  I love the likes of Steve and those who share his beliefs however misguided or misinformed they are.  They are entertaining!  Ignorance is bliss.....

It's easy to focus on the negative because the shiny turd always catches your eye.  Not many people see the countless cops shot in the face at a traffic stop, run down while assisting a civilian, ambushed by thugs shot and left for dead, etc, etc, all caught on those dash cams.  Yes you hear them gasp there last breath....some even crying at the very end.

It's like the war protesters calling servicemen baby killers.....
