I'll just say this: This is a 10mm website first. It's secondary function is to post newsworthy items on current events/politics etc. Nobody will be allowed to push an agenda (unless it's the 10mm agenda). If you hate cops, go post it on the hating cops website. If the internet doesn't have a hating cops website, I can show you how to make one. Same goes for someone that comes here and posts all day about Ford Mustangs or red roses. An occasional post about roses or Mustangs would be appropriate, but if that's all you post about, you should go find yourself a website about flowers or sign up at the muscle car forum. Our ban list has ZERO people on it (except automated spammers from china and russia). Let's keep it that way.

I appreciate all the honest answers. As I said, I would let the membership decide on this one and I will stay true to my word. If this means I will have to move on than so be it. Perhaps I will just have to stay off the General Discussion forum, which is a shame because I do enjoy this site and I like 99% of the membership here.

I think some of the problem is that since we are a small, close knit fraternity here in the 10mm world, we are always on top of each other and in each others' faces. This does not fair well when people have strong, opposing points of view, and some like to push their agenda. On a larger site there are separate forums for these issues where people can debate if they wish or push their agendas.

A little note about myself...I am 49 years old and have had a 25 year career in law enforcement. I take great pride in what I do for a living and have seen all the good, bad, and ugly in law enforcement. When another law enforcement officer gives the entire profession a black eye I take it seriously and personally. I have had close friends of mine killed in the line of duty. Some of these friends were killed while they were trying to help others, so maybe now some here can see where I am coming from. When the occasional post comes along about police officer transgressions I can accept it. When someone comes around intentionally bashing law enforcement all the time than I feel I have to take a stance.

The chips will fall where they may in this one. I guess time will tell how this plays out.
