:o man I say this tongue and cheek but you gotta to practice more and shoot better. :o :o ;D ;D

I remember thinking this.  Then one day I was getting erratic readings and got frustrated and started just squezing off the last couple rounds.  Next I spent 15 minutes downrange looking for one of the sky screen legs.

Ooops.

Papajohn

I came up with this setup because the skyscreens on my Chrony Beta sucked.  It's a hunk of clear plexiglass, spray-painted white, with empty 40S&W brass glued to the underside to capture the ends of the prop rods.  It works well regardless of the cloud cover, but in windy conditions it thinks it's a sailplane.    :(

Anyone who actually believes Joe Biden got 81 Million votes is either delusional, an idiot, or a Democrat.  And likely all three.

That's pretty neat but you can still tap those metal rods and bam goes the sky screens. The problem is they shouldn't have anchored the rods in the screen boxes and especially in that tight V. Over the Winter my rework is going to look at putting 1" aluminum brackets along the bottom attached with screws. My plan is to then drill down 1/2" into the aluminum blocks to fit the rods in. I have two sets of the plastics I can join together and if the distance off to the edges is 3" each side where they anchor in that should give me more than enough room to never hit one. Most of my hits have been low which the metal plates cover or I get a little bit low and outside the 3" box of the V slightly and hit a rod. I figure 3" to the left and 3" to the right gives me a 9" window. I am never off that much! I will post pictures as I get it done. I'm going to patent it!
