Well, since you know who got re-elected I haven't been able to find any HP38 to reload my 10mm and 40 cal S&W. But I did stumble into a 5 pound jug of Blue Dot. So I just did two test reloadings of 150 each using the Blue Dot. And of course as soon as I did them, Lohman finally filled a backorder I had for two pounds of HP 38. Cie la vie. Maybe I'll be impressed enough with the Blue Dot loads and continue using it. I can always do my regular .38 special 148 grain cast DEWC loads with the incoming HP 38.

Anyways I also used the Blue Dot for test boxes of .44 special, .44 magnum, and .45 Colt. I'm sure the Blue Dot won't go to waste.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

So what load are you testing.... I've found BD not the best, but works fairly well for the 10mm.
Seems to work a bit better at the loads closer to max levels ( burns cleaner )... has a nice flash/bang too. :)
Been running 10.4gr with a 180 fmj ft for paper and its pretty accurate.

Well to tell you the truth, I was using Blue Dot for many cartridges 38, 357, 44 and others.  Then back in early 1990, I developed loads for 10mm using the Blue Spectacles of goodness... 8)   My favorite target load was 10.2 grains under my 175 grain cast bullets, but 10.5 grains was my push for my 200 grain XTP's from my S&W1006.

I still like what Blue Dot brings to the party, but since added others since newer powers have been produce and I was introduced to others over the years.

Well, I pushing 185 grain Precision Bullets RNF bullets. My first batch was using 8.5 grains of the Blue Dot. I used to use Blue Dot way back when for both shotgun and .38 special/.357 magnum loads.

Gotten a lot more caliber pistols since then.
