What two models are illegal in the U.S.? What do they have in common and who/why deemed them illegal?

The Glock 25 and 28 are not legal to import. Both are chambered in .380acp and do not score high enough on the crazy BAFTE import point scale...

I wonder who'd really want a .380 Glock as big as, well, a Glock anyway ;-)

Are the 25 and 28 totally illegal in the US or are they ok for Law Enforcement or by Permit ?
Like the G18, it is illegal for most Folks to own, but can be owned by LEAs or by Permit

My understanding is they are are ok for LE ... I think the BAFTE "test" deals with importation for retail sale.
