Three takeaways here: One – the Federal government can build a complex networked database that handles high volumes if it wants to; Two – Healthcare.gov isn't experiencing high volumes of traffic by any applicable standard; and Three – people are a hell of a lot more interested in buying guns than they are in buying Obamacare.

The FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check (NICS) system processed 1.68 million applications for background checks for would-be gun buyers throughout the Nation in October. During the same month, Healthcare.gov managed to enroll 49,100 people in Obamacare.

Allegedly, I've yet to see one person on the news who successfully signed up.

I'd bet they'd get a higher response if they offered a free Gun with every Application
That would "kill" two birds with one stone   ::)
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

Obamacare is a 'deadly precription' for government 'expansionism'.  Buying guns is the antidote, which can cure the disease.

You could buy a new gun every month for what family health care coverage costs.

Wonder what effect this fiasco has on Obama's obvious belief in big government and big business?

Given that insurance is about offsetting/reassigning risk, including pre-existing conditions makes it difficult for me to see ACA as anything but a politician's scam.

And don't forget the billions of tax payer dollars going toward modifying private industry dynamics by subsidizing physician purchases of EMRs. That hurt a lot of small companies, but helped a few large ones.
