Well as luck would have it fed ex brought a box of goodies to me today! Speaking of recoil spring! Just looked the barrel over and it looks good! Did a polish on the feed ramp and will be heading to tje range to see how 40sw cycles with the 22 pound spring, not to mention accuracy out of this LW 40 conversion barrel

I'm jealous

It was exactly the same with the factory spring.

Wasn't expecting that.  Thanks very much for the report!
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I have never found springs to make that big a difference in ejection.  YMMV

Yeah, I either.  But boy oh boy can the ejection process go from 5' to the next zip code in a hurry by going from weak 10mm - Underwood, using the stock recoil spring.  Power level of ammo makes a huge difference but then spring weight seems to remain marginal in taming it back down.

I have a bunch of new springs from Wolff for both my G20 and G29 but haven't gotten around to trying them out yet.  Curious to see it all myself one of these months.

I have used the Tungsten w 22lb spring for over a year...Definitely helps a bit with muzzle flip on the more stout loads.

I DO like the captured steel guide rod in my Glocks. I feel a Tungsten is a waste of $$.

I also replace factory springs with Wollfe springs in all my firearms when they need replacing or when I buy a used firearm.

Can you give me an example or two of aftermarket captured steel guide rod manufacturers?  I've got brand new non captured ones buy Wolff for both my G20 and G29.  Haven't even installed them yet.  I do like the idea of "captured" though.

The last two I got where from a seller on EBay and one form The Glock Store.  The seller on EBay was GlockPolishing

Fpr springs I prefer Wolfee.
