Great guns!!!  I have a few myself!!!

I used to have a 38" 12 ga IIRC but sold off the barrel when we changed to steel shot only on Ducks n Geese.  I also bought a Super Mag 3 1/2" gun for Geese and long turkeys.

Have use used any of the special field guns?  I have two a 12 & a 20. GREaT handeling with the shorter mag tubes and barrels combined with the exglish stocks!

As a defensive weapon they are what all others are measured against. I'll never give up a good/ well setup 870!!

Shotguns are the one real blank spot in my arsenal.  I have 12, 16, 20 and .410 break action single shots by various makers, but no repeaters.  Something I need to rectify.

I've got a thing for these older Wingmasters. They are a much better buy than a new Express. The only drawback is no choke tubes. You can have them threaded or sell the barrel and get a newer one. Older barrels usually go for at least $100 on ebay and sometimes much more.

I have two Remington WingMasters one I purchased new (30" long full choke), and painted a camo job on and hunted ducks fairly hard with, practice on some clay targets too, the other was my dad's 28" with a PolyChoke...excellent shooters.
Favorite load was 35.7 grains of blue Dot under 1 1/4 oz in the Rem or Peters hulls with RP12 wads... ;D
I have often wanted a 18.5" rifled slug barrel to play with.  :'(

One of my favorites is a old WingMaster 20Ga Magnum. (12 ga frame) it was covered with years of touch-up spray paint form duck hunting many seasons. When the feds forced steel shot on us the 20ga guns took a back seat. The price was rite and I left it as was for a couple years before cleaning it up. It really was not that bad! Its one of my slickest shooting guns! Its a 28" full choke barrel. being a 12Ga frame barrels are not so common, so it dosen't get shot too much. Occasionally it sees the trap field!

I have a 20ga. 1100 skeet on the 12ga. frame. The barrels are hard to find and don't come cheap. The 26" barrel like mine just sold for $311 on ebay.

I really would like to find a gun like this to start my kids on. Heavy 12 gauge frame and some light 20 gauge loads would be great.  As opposed the the light .410 break action with 3" shells my dad started me on.

You can check Gunbroker and Gun Auction. They do come up for sale, but not often. An excellent choice for kids and women. My wife can shoot this for hours with no complaints, doesn't have a recoil pad. The barrel is set up for light loads.

They really seem like nice pieces. I'm still debating a used one in excellent condition.
