Well many thanks are again in order...
To Rome, for his generosity sharing the Speer 200gr Gold Dot bullets, some commercial ammo and several other items that I will still need some time to get everything worked up & tested.  Looking forward to the jell test from Raggedyman when he gets his gun back to continue doing the jello-shots.Pun Intended!

To Intercooler, for his generosity for all the factory ammo for "pull down" observations in 10mm and other cartridges as well, we all can learn something from the data I am collecting.

Also to pacapcop & McQuade, for their contributions, sending the SwampFox 180gr Rem Golden Saber BJHP and the Lancer Ammo 180gr XTP for "pull-downs".

I would like to also invite others who wish to contribute, either by posting their own findings or wanting to send commercial ammo for testing to which we can learn or benefit from knowing what we are buying, using or even loading for ourselves.

Many people had compliment this forum because of the wealth of knowledge in attendance here, so a big hearty thanks to everyone of the members for your participation in the various topics!

Most of all my personal thanks to our gracious host for this fantastic forum, Grim Reaper if it were not for him, this site would not be possible!

Thanks again, it has been one of the greatest forums because of the people who share their experiences!

Intercooler

I agree 100%! Thank you and everyone here (plus the 10mm following) for all the contributions. I know I have learned much and still do everyday  8)

Well again thanks to Inercooler, who has sent yet more ammo for the pull-down inspection and documentations so we can all learn of what being sold.

This go round there were many things to look at...
The Crossfire ammo with the (Black Oxide) was very interesting
The Littlestone ammo which contained the "Yellow Dust" like found in the Nugent ammo is still a mystery...
Magtech's 9mm with type of smokeless powder that I have never seen but am still searching for info...

From a handloader standpoint, I am seeing several things as the commercial/speciality loaders are catering to the needs of people looking for the best bang for their money!   Quality bullets designed for defensive purposes and special loads to bring extra power for hunting as well as general purpose shooting.

MCQUADE

And Thank You Wade! Many of you guys on here spend countless hours doing the footwork and pass the results on to the members here. I've had a lot of irons in the fire lately and haven't posted much but I will hopefully have a Para longslide hunter within the next month that I am planning on shooting the snot out of and I will post my opinion of it then. Also, member Hunter is getting a brand new Delta Elite from Colt for a review, I'm sure he'll post a link to it here. Now off to shoot some 38-40's another member hooked me up with, WOW!!!!! ;D

MCQUADE, I'll be looking forward to the reviews and reports!

While it takes time to gather the data for each cartridge I pull-down, the thing that takes the longest is the uploading of the pictures.  I changed the setting on my camera to the highest resolution which makes the files larger to upload and many times I am competing with my niece and nephew over the bandwidth.  They are here most days, watchin Netflix or messing around on their tablets, while I work my way through the process.

Nonetheless, I enjoy getting down the documentations, from the cartridges, most of which are sent at no charge by Intercooler.  I try to put together a care package of few things to return the favor, because I'm too cheap to buy the factory made products...LOL  :o
