When not carrying my XDS because I need something smaller, I carry a Seecamp 32:

I had a Seecamp 380 but decided to sell it, great for pocket carry but it sucked to shoot. I also had one of the Double Tap derringers in 45acp, it  sucked to shoot too.

I find the 32 very controllable and easy to shoot. I haven't shot the 380 but have heard, as you said, it is uncomfortable to shoot.

BEEMER!

I like Seecamps, but in my opinion the guys that are carrying LWS 380's for protection are kidding themselves

The closest thing I can compare shooting a LWS 380 to is having a firecracker go off in your hand which has happened to me.

I respect your opinion, but I have no reservations having a 75 grain hardcast bullet moving 856 ft per second to end a threat.

It is not the 380 load that I am talking about.  There are times when I carry a 380 when what I am wearing does not allow me to carry something larger.

In my opinion, although the LWS380 is small and easily concealed, I feel much more confident with my ability to protect myself with my P380 which also seems to disappear in my pocket.

So many possible choices. In summer months I carry a Kahr CM9 IWB or pocket carry it. In tighter clothing I carry a Ruger LCP. That thing is tiny and will fit any pocket.

445 supermag

For me if I was allowed to carry here in NJ it would be my sig p 232 .380.  By far the best 380 out there IMHO.  The down side is that it's on the large size ...  accuracy is scary good .   Scary!

Best of luck finding something your comfortable with.

You got it!

Awesome!!

Intercooler

Gel videos of a .380 Hardcast show it goes a LONG WAY. Regardless of what bone it hits I think it passes through.

Good pistol overall for the money. Snappy as it's 15 ounces empty. Trigger 9lb pull. Definitely had to put sights low. At that point it was on target and groupings were better. First go with it using Federal fmj. Range conditions were sloppy. Ice snow mud but fun.

Sloppy day for the outdoor range!

How many rounds did you fire?

pacapcop

100 rounds. Pistol had 200 thru it prior. Overall impressed. My opinion is a no nonsense pistol for self defense that works. However not for the recoil sensitive.

Gotcha. Sounds like a keeper!
