Anybody carry a pocket gun? One that actual fits with room to spare and no bulging.  I've been thinking of getting one.  Just always wanted one for some reason.  Thinking a .25 or 32 acp
Brother always has his 22mag. I think it is an american arms.
Anybody got any recommendations or ones to stay away from as far as quality goes.

Any reviews on that double 45acp .  I think it fires both at one time can't remember the name of it.  Be a last resort gun shooting to 45s at once.

Lots of .22LR and mags out there. .25's are junk, in any form. .32's are only slightly better. Otherwise, look at the LCP (Ruger) and Pico (Beretta) .380's. The Pico is far and away the best weapon.

I am interested in one as well. One for the coat pocket and I like the Shield for that role in 9mm. Manual safety as well. Little bigger than a mouse gun but could serve the purpose. Currently have a .25 Beretta from 1989 flip top 950, but it's served it's purpose back then. Beretta flip tops are nice and user friendly. .32 Cal

For $399 that Pico is impressive. Beretta makes a quality product!

Don't own a .380 and always thought having any pocket pistol it should be 9mm instead (ammo cost too). Very nice though!

I think I would want the Lasermax version when it's out.

Pocket pistols are belly guns. Don't sweat the sights. Any sights. If you're far enough away you need sights, you're out of range. You should be able to hit COM at 7 yds, blindfolded. If not, you or the pistol is not up to the task.

If you think you need more than a .380, look to the LC9. Still small, just not as small. More power is more size. No way around it. The ballistic difference between the 9mm and .380 in a 2" or less pistol is essentially irrelevant.

I pack a S&W m&p 340 (.357) in my front pocket everywhere I go. I usually keep it stoked with buffalo bore 38 +p. Love it!!!

Don't know why but I always wanted the Saturday night special.

My pocket pistol is a Ruger LCP. I love the size and carry it mostly in a Desantis Nemesis holster but also have an ankle holster that gets some use.

Depends what you wantntonspend but here are some I have positive experience with  and fit the definition of a pocket gun;

Kahr CW9

Desert Eagle Micro 380

Rohrbaugh

LCR and LCP

I carry a Ruger LCR 357 revolver/125gr. Winchester Silvertip hollow points. I know it's only 5 rounds, but it goes bang every time I pull the trigger, and it's got the best trigger of any DAO revolver on the market. At 17oz., you don't even know it's there.

Keltec P3ATs are small, the LCP is more refined. The little Kahrs are great (but for big hands, have a gunsmith mill down the slide release very thin so as not to hit it with your thumb) the PPKS bit my beefy hand. Your pocket size has a lot to do with it also. I do well with a keltec PF9 in jackets, etc. It even fits well in dress slacks. Good luck to you.

I recently picked up a Ruger LCP for use as a backup gun... small but still easy to handle.

FWIW mine has a CTC laserguard... and I wouldn't have a pocket gun without some kind of laser, as the "sights" on the ones I've handled are pretty awful to small or non-existent LOL

I prefer to carry nothing smaller than 9mm.  I've used both a Kahr CM9 and Kahr CW9 as backups or primary carry when the situation dictates.  Neither one is detectable when carried IWB at appendix carry.  The CM9, despite its size, is fun to shoot.

An LC9 is also a good option.

YMMV......

Hello everybody. I'm kinda new here and I hope to get to know some of you. As per your question, I have a S&W 442 without a lock, it is one of the older J-Frame smiths that they call an Airweight. Mine is a .38. I bought a leather pocket holster years ago and it still works just fine. A S&W J-Frame will just about disappear in a front pocket. I keep mine loaded with 158 grain LSWHP+P's and I feel perfectly safe when carrying my old school revolver. There is a podcast that Massad Ayoob is a part of and while listening to that I heard someone mention a spring kit that Mr. Ayoob had recommended to them for their J-Fame. It isn't a target weight spring kit, but a duty/carry spring kit that changed my trigger-pull from what felt like around fourteen pounds to a much smoother nine pound trigger pull. I would recommend that kit to anyone who carries a J-Frame Smith. If anyone is interested, it is called:  Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Spring Kit S&W J-Frame. Good luck to you on your choice.

I have a S&W Bodyguard .380 ACP with built in laser. I use it in summer months for carry when I'm wearing like shorts and a tee shirt. in a IWB holster.

Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
