Should Detroit get a bail out?

The people who created the mess have by-in-large already gotten themselves out.  They are now on the dole in Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis or St. Louis.

Those that are left are holding the bag.  I have a good college friend back there.  Moved there about 10 years ago.  If you want free land, Detroit offers some great options

Now I am not talking about folks who are Union MEMBERS, but people who are employed directly by the Union itself

The thing is though I think all that money is our dues  which doesn't hit the company... I think.

I agree here too
They should have given the funds to the "Barrower" with the understanding that they pay-off their outstanding debts or buy something like a house or car
By giving the funds to the public (not the Banks), they would assure being repaid through the IRS over say five or ten years time

NO, that's why I'm trying to differentiate between the Union "MEMBER" and the Union Employee
While the Member pay the bills, the Employee brings NOTHING to the table, but still takes a HUGE BITE

    I know the next big bail out. Mark my word on this one! Student loans. If anything is left after several Cities gets theirs it will be the student loans. I tell my Wife this all the time as we ride through the local college campus. It's more built up than anything I have seen! When the graduates can't get a decent job to pay the tab this too shall be bailed!
