He told me today the 1006 that they were using with the G20 for the ammo ratings is gone. They purchased a Witness 10mm to replace it. He gave me some reasons for the 1006 going:

- Trigger.       I tend to agree so don't need to investigate.
- Rubs your finger on every shot.      I don't recall that but plan on taking notice.
- Magazine safety.      Guess that is an issue.
- Magazine release.     I have to dig mine out and see! I can't remember it being crazy.

If my Limited Pro pans out I may join him  :(  The 1006 shoots the 10mm well but the trigger and grip really put a couple of strikes against it.

Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

There is some take-up (slack during the already cocked hammer...but trigger reset makes this shorter by not letting the trigger fully return) with the trigger on the 1006...1911 shooters will find it not to their liking!

Magazine safety can be removed without issues to allow the gun to be fired with out a magazine, simple modification.

Never had any rubbing on my fingers with the grip/hold with any of my 10xx series guns.

The magazine release can be difficult for some to manipulate without changing your grip somewhat.

Over the years I learned to deal with the trigger and the take-up, the double action only guns is a completly different experience.

Stay tuned as I plan on doing trigger pulls side by side with the Pro. I may do a video too!
