Penn Bullets

Has anyone used Penn bullets, specifically this one?

I don't use the Penn bullets, I actually cast my own to use for target play.  I like the cast TCBB (mine are 175 gr) for reliable feeding.

Some of the SWC types don't work well in some guns and seating length would need to be consider to make them work well if at all...however they do cut clean holes in the targets for scoring.

The 180's should work well also but the over all length will need to be adjusted as they mention in their info because of the crimp groove.

To be honest, in the lead bullet arena, it is hard to beat the quality of bullets you cast yourself.

Lyman Devastators are excellent game bullets in the 44 mag. They do take more work to cast though.

I'm too lazy to cast my own. I use Precision Bullets 185 grains.

I haven't figured out the problem yet but the LEE 175gr TCPB boolit is the only boolit I can't get to reliably feed in my 10MM -1911's.

The Lee 175 grain SWC also feeds poorly, if I load them longer than 1.250".  So, I load them to 1.245" and all is good.

I just picked up my 1000 165 from Montana Gold I know the 155 worked real well for plinking and target shooting.
