Shadow, I've got some 200 grain SF ammo, I could send you a couple if you'd like to check them out for yourself. Send me a pm if interested.

Which ones do you have 1325 fps? or 1240 fps?  Both of these have been pulled and documented...
If you still want to have some pulled e would be happy to post the findings. ;D

The 1325 fps loads, sure you can pull a couple for yourself and the folks around here with the data, and If you'd like maybe chrono a couple as well.

This was a box I bought from a guy getting out of the 10mm game.  I originally pulled one to verify what Mike said he was loading.  However I never did a proper documentation with pictures and all the measurements recorded, so here it is 2 years have past since Mike passed away!   :'(

NickE10mm had shown his scaled measurement of 9.9 grains for the 1325 fps loading (HOT) on the GT forum.

He also measured was 9.4 grains

Pretty darn neat! The 1300 FPS version is a handful  :D

I would still like to see some other SwampFox Ammo like the 135's, 155's, 165's, 175's and if he made any 155 or 175 SilverTip Ammo...Seeing how he used mostly LongShot, he did say he used Winchester Autocomp 155gr's...Looking to preserve the history of Mike Willard's work for everyone present and future.

Please If any one has some original Swamp Fox ammo please consider sending 1 or 2 rounds for the pull-down study and documentation.  Maybe some non members or members will spare a round or two if they have any of the ammo left in their inventory or if they have the means do the pull down themselves to document what they find. They could follow the same format I use and post that would be great for all of us to learn from.  Then others or myself can work up loads for testing to compare notes.  ;D

I am working at getting a couple of SwampFox 180gr XTP's @ 1325 fps dated to Nov 10 2010.  They will likely be the same as some of the ones we already have done but hey, it will show what's inside!  8)

These were slightly lower charge weights, I have to wonder if these were his Delta Elite loadings...
If these run at 1200 fps range the Muzzle Energy: 639 ft. lbs

SwampFox did some great things with 10mm. It's a shame though he only explored Long Shot as his powder of choice.

Pinsnscrews

I am wondering if he found he could get the loads he wanted best with Longshot...

My question is more of "what pressures was he getting out of these loads? Does a compressed load of Lonshot produce lower cartridge pressures by building more pressure as it expands down the barrel?
