What would be your absolute maximum loadings for 200 grain 10mm GDJHP (Long shot, Blue dot, X-800?) OAL 1.260 light crimp or no crimp at all CCI 350 mag Primers.
Using 10MM Starline brass or Double Tap nickel plated brass I going to work my way up? Any advice I would greatly appreciated. Gun used will be Glock 20 full size standard barrel & 6

Shadow can put his two sense in but I can tell you the chamber has allot to do with the load level. Tighter means higher pressures tolerable. I have found when I push the limit with the standard barrel the smilie starts to show. So I would approach by using the case head expansion method especially with the factory chamber.

I would cross referense the data at the top of this page, under my name and I will be using it and STOPPING at the same TOP loads. IMHO no reason to go too extreme, the loads I have used are very HOT.

Thanks for the information guys. I think your right Shadow, I am wilily to give some bullets away for free if someone tries these gold dots post some pictures of bullets & results no one is as smart of all of us put together. I am hoping the results will be better than the XTP 200 grain. Lots of 20 or 25 bullets just send me your address. To georgerome@cox.net
My gun range is so far away it would be an all-day affair for me. I cannot discharge a firearm in any local city near me unless it at an outdoor range.

Newbie Rome said 200 Grain GDHP were purchased from RMR Mr. . Wilcox said he only had 9000 for sale (in all is years this is the first he had ever ran across) & they came from ATK an expired lot they never sold in .40 Cal. the Speer expert said they were never release for production only a few thousand was sold out of 50,000 produced. This is an extremely rare find dessert gold said once the weather cools down he will try to make a UTube video He thank me for the heads up from the first listing on RMR that only lasted a few days. I feel very lucky, the price was a little steep but to have almost a one of a kind to me it was well worth it if it turns out to be what I expected if not it still a collector item to me. I purchased 2000 out of 9000 & willing to give some away for testing purposes.

Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I posted some loads this morning for the Speer 200gr GDHP in the velocity comparison chart at the top of this page, Accuracy was good at 10 yards.

I also posted three loads in the same thread, unfortunately they are not as complete as I would have liked them to be.

I shot one at ~1200 FPS into 2-liter soda bottles, the bullet penetrated (blew out) three of them then nicked and bounced off the fourth.  It was dark and I didn't recover the bullet but I emptied the bottles and there were no fragments which leads me to believe that the bullet held together.

Has anyone recovered a 200 grain GDHP I am very curious as to the penetration & depth & especially expansion. Is it better than 180? I will soon be switching over from 45apc in my Dillon 650 to 10mm. All my Ballistic gel has molded from Corbin. I have the ATF Officer coming Wednesday to give me final approval on my FFL6 licenses for manufacturing & selling some ammo on very small scale. I am hoping to to get some money back from the beginning of this year inventory & investments. I can only sell at gun shows & on line only In Virginia I will be 1 out of 54 that has a class FFL 6 but the BS I went through since applying back in April has taken this long. PS Showdow & Ron should get your bullets neXt week I get you a tracking number ASAP.

Any further testing in media where the bullet was recovered?

Unfortunately not yet, but I will probably get the chance next week.  I was happy to see that the bullet didn't frag. FYI other bullets that I have tested in this format that fragged almost completely in the 2-liter bottles:
Fed. 9BPLE (tiny particles)
Underwood 115 +p+ (about a 40 grain meteorite remaining)
Underwood 147 +p+ (about a 60 grain meteorite remaining)

Although I didn't recover the bullet it did penetrate three full jugs and didn't leave behind any fragments.  No clue as to how it will perform in the gel but it did expand and didn't fragment.

Not yet. I will try to shoot into wetpack this weekend or next for sure.
200gr GDHP at 1200+ fps . I will probably try a couple loads at 1150 fps also.

Sounds great!  It is mainly the water jug testing I'm most curious to see the results of.

I'll be doing that as well in a few weeks. Bullets won't be here until then. 4.6" (OEM), 5.2", 6.5" barrels, and a .40SW Mechtech, 800-1800 FPS. I have a continuous supply of square food-grade 5 gallon buckets, which are ideal for bullet capture.

I'll also be doing a half dozen other calibers then, including 9x25D (90 gr. XTP, 147 gr. JHP) . If you have any specific requests, I'll do it if I have them. I also want to do the .30-06 with a Norma 180 gr. SMBT, but I'll do it last if I have enough buckets left (guessing it'll take 8).

I expect the supply of square food-grade 5 gallon buckets would work very well.  I look forward to your future results.
