Just saw that RMR bullets has some pulled 200 gr. 10mm GDHP bullets:

$180/1000 shipped.

A bit too rich for my blood considering they are pulled and have sealant on them.  Did some quick research and it appears that the 200 GDHP in .40 is a bit of a unicorn... they didn't produce it for very long and information about the projectile is sparse.  DocGKR didn't seem to think that it performed/would perform very well.  Would be kind of cool to see how it does loaded to 10mm velocity.

I wish they had an option for 250 or 500.

I find it hard to believe.  I'm tempted and think the price is fair, but.......I just don't know.  I sure would like to know where they got the loaded 40S&W rounds to pull in the first place.  I sure would like to see a  gel test of them along side 200 XTP bullets.

I wonder how many they actually have available.  I'll have to sleep on it.  Feels like an April Fools type prank.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Redline, RMR is legitimate, don't worry about ordering from them. They are usually pull downs from contract overages, rejects, etc.

That price is around $35 higher per thousand than the pulled HST were that I bought which is why I think it is a bit high, especially with the black sealant. Plus, I knew the 180 HST was a good bullet. Not too much info available on these.

I know RMR is legit.  You must understand that coming across 200gr Gold Dots makes Gold itself look as common as the gravel along the roadways.

As for HST;  Federal has NEVER made them available to the public as a ammo handloading component, therefore there's no way to judge what they maybe should or shouldn't cost.  In regard to 200gr Gold Dots (virtually nonexistent);  the price being asked for them is cheaper than the .400 caliber Gold Dots commonly available which is why I commented on the price asked being fair.

Availability of HST bullets in general isn't a huge deal being that they are loaded in everyday ammo regardless that they aren't available as an individual load component.  200gr Gold Dots on the other hand may never be seen available ever again.

Thanks! Let me know when you get them as I might want to take some off your hands!

Would it be possible to get 10 or so for Raggedyman? I would like to see them in gel if possible.

I remember seeing some of these offered by Speer for the .40 some time back, it's tempting to get some and try out.  But $180 is a little high for me.  I'm wondering if it's essentially a longer version of the 180gr or if it has a shallower cavity like the 165gr or 155gr version.  From the picture on the website, it looks like it might be a deeper cavity like the 180gr.

I just ordered some also. I guess we will have plenty around here. :o
I will run a few thru wetpack when I get them. 200gr GDHP at 1200fps.

Yep.  I (or someone else) will send some down in a little while.

No problem.  I will sell some to forum members for cost+shipping.  I'm planning on selling some through other avenues at a slight markup but for you guys I sell at cost.

I would guess that they are relatively fragile and wouldnt stand up very well to 10mm velocity

I'll be watching for the hands on reviews.  Like 45BBH, I too wonder how similar they do or don't look to a 180gr Gold Dot.  Being it would seem they were designed solely for 40S&W, in 10mm @ 1200 or more FPS I expect they should blow open pretty good in wetpack or gel.  Is 1" expansion out of the question? :-\

I love the Gold Dot Bullet
But I just can't allow myself to carry Non Factory, PD / HD Rounds in my Daily Carry
Would like to get ahold of either Double Tap or Underwood Gold Dot Loads though
We'll just have to keep an eye out for them
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !
