Going out of town this weekend and will be testing some loads in wetpack.
All are loads I carry and I want to see how they perform.
45 ACP   -  185gr XTP at 1080 fps
38 Super - 124 gr XTP at 1350 fps
38 Super - 115 gr Nosler HP at 1385 fps
380 ACP  - 102 gr Rem GS at 920 fps
I will be posting pictures .

That's awesome.

But no 10mm in the mix? :'(
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

I ran out of time but I got the 380 ACP -102gr Rem GS shot into wetpack and was very suprised to find they did well at 8'.
Spec's- 102gr at 920 fps out of a Ruger  LCP , backup to my primary CHL gun.
Weight :
102.2gr =  Diameter =.586 x .583"
102.3gr =  Diameter =.550 x .614"
102.3gr =  Diameter =.553 x .536"
Very consistent weight retention and expanded diameter's. Looks like they picked up a few tenths of weight in paper.
Gives me very high hopes for the 300- .40-165gr Rem GS I have coming. DOH !!! NOT Rem GS but Sierra 165gr SportMasters, I got them yesterday . I have to many irons in the fire.

I think the 10mm/40cal Remington Golden Saber 165 gr BJHP I purchased in March of 2001, were of the non-bonded type, other than by the power driving band built into the bullet.  I loaded them with 11.0 grains of Blue Dot @ 1200 fps for a medium loading.  ;D

Those Remi's i carry from Underwood when Kev was selling are nasty buggers.Those were coming out at close to 1400.I seen in article from Brasstard what that bullet does thru soaked phone books.Core jacket seperation at high velocity but created 2 seperate wound cavitys.Good defense round.Rounds tested were Double Tap at the time.At 1200 core jacket should hold together.

For the times some choose to carry .380, I think it's pretty hard to argue with the 102gr Rem GS.

I'ld like to see a similar wetpack test with the 102gr Rem GS aunched from 9x25 Dillon.  Is 2000 FPS possible from a 6" barrel?

NICE :P

That works out to 906 ft-lbs. :o

2102 FPS brings it beyond an honest 1000 ft-lbs.

Do you think 2102 FPS is possible from a 6"? :-\

Yes, as said.  Easily.  90 gr. XTP significantly more.

123.7gr - Diameter = ,593 x .631"

I'm liking what I see out of the Nosler bullets when pushed hard.  Thanks for posting!
