Armscor, I think.  Newer headstamp, as it's not on the older lists.  I recall reading about it, but not 100% sure.

Could be USA Ammo, but I don't recall ever seeing the "A".

I plan on sending The Shadow the norm for a pull-down.

I thought Armscor too. Don't know how thrilled I am about that but did run their own weak .357's without issue.

Out of curiosity, I just looked at my BB .357 Mag cases bought periodically from 2002 to 2013 and  they're all Starline. (The oldest is the 'Item 19B', the 170gr JHC. Haven't seen those on a shelf since.)

  I'm a little baffled here. My GP100 6" was in jail back looking at this post. Today I took the remainder with me since .357 was on the list to Chronograph them. The results make me want to run a few more Underwood 180's (.2gr's more of the same powder). After the first couple readings I put them over until they were all gone, because the results seemed high.

Ruger GP100 6" 1479, 1510, 1531, 1503, 1509. Average = 1506.4 FPS/ 907 LBS 

I always try to get a second test in to smoke out variations.

It must be nice to have Intercooler bucks. You oughta try shooting them at some deer!

I went out hunting in the storm yesterday and got nothing but a frozen model 700 bolt.

The 180's I cast are a little different, RCBS Silhouette 180gr gas checked...Longer due to smaller meplat, but better long range performance.


I have been loading them over 11.0 grains of Blue Dot they run 1320 fps. from my 6" S&W M-19
Intercooler shoot them from his Ruger 4" GP100 @ 1237, 1234. Average = 1235.5 FPS/ 610 LBS.

For 38 spl loading 8.0 gr Blue Dot(Hercules Cardboard jugs) 950 fps
