This situation is exactly like 1994 and 2009.  Shooters responded emotionally to some threat that did not exist.  Some persons who wanted to appear "in the know" or "connected" used the internet forums to repeat these "sky is falling" rumors over and over until people believed i

The best part is what a great community we have here.  Good conversations and topics, good data and very, very little BS.

I'm still waiting for the "explosion." The explosion is the point in a web forums life where everyone becomes aware of it's existence, and they want to show up and either add their 2 cents or bash the subject matter.

I hold high hopes that we will avoid that phenomenon. It didn't really occur on the last forum for our favorite caliber until we were "absorbed" by a larger community.  I had negative feelings about that probable outcome but was new to the forum and kinda went along.  Soon after we started getting more folks who wanted to argue.

Here, we are odd-ball enough, being 10mm specific, that we hopefully will avoid the undesirables.

That's how I'm kinda thinking about it.
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Just noticed, I signed up a year ago today. Thanks again for the site.

Yep, it was one year ago this day that I signed on here.  it has been a great first year!  Thanks to Grim Reaper for providing a great forum for us to play, chat and learn form each other as we enjoy ourselves in friendship and camaraderie.

I have had a blast (literally) doing the pull-downs that Intercooler has sent, I hope that you all have embraced that information and found it to be useful in one way or another. Being a  handloader for a long time has afforded me a good working knowledge of the hobby and keeps me continually studying all of the various aspects involved!

I will say that all of the people who have blazed the trail here, on this forum, have kept things civil and respectable as we offer opinions / facts / knowledge and just pass the time with each other!

So my thanks to everyone who has participated here on the 10mmFirearms forum!  It has been a pleasure!
