$799!?!?!? What the crap?  This same store also had a standard CZ 75B for $729

I was actually in the store, so I don't have a link to the RIA, but here's the CZ listed on ArmsList that is also in the same store:

Always at least one, sometimes more, that take advantage of shortages in supply of anything. Best to remember this when things turn around and take your business elsewhere. Just my opinion.

This store is near my Ma & Pa's house.  I was out that way seeing them today and I stopped in after seeing that CZ in armslist the other day just to be outraged in person :).

EdMc

$720 would outrage most.  ;D I bought a CZ-75B a year ago for 480 out the door. That included 7% sales tax. Maybe they've gone up a 'little'.  :o

I would kindly ask them you noticed an increase in prices. Maybe something going on we all don't know in the market.

Munch

Saw one at the Houston Gun Collector's Association Gun Show last month going for $699.  The dealer had mentioned that they don't stay unsold for very long, so I suppose it is not outside the realm of possibility for the price increase....

I wouldn't want to see one, because it would probably end up coming home with me. I just LOVE 10mm!
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

gandog56

Oh phooie, as soon as I sent in a big check for medical co-payments and have nothing left in the bank account, I see this! Anybody in south Alabama want to try one of these RIA 10mm's at $600?

Hummm ....I bought one four months ago for $530. I really really like it, of course I've spent about $300 on it springs, reverse flush cut crown, ect. I also hand milled the slide rollmarks. The slide's at Coal Creek Armory getting the melonited. It will be a very cool Frankin Rock. Shoot's as good as my Baer or Brown.  ;D
Condition One ..

I picked one up about 3 months ago, my first 10 mm, under 600 before tax.  Liked the cartridge but not the Rock.  I had a Tactical Two-Tone earlier in .45 ACP and with a trigger job it ran like a new clock, but I found the 10 to feel gritty even after a nice solvent bath de-grease and cleaning.  Fired 100 rounds, listed it for sale (after taxes I think I lost $20) looked around at DW Pointman on Gunbroker, then bought a Kimber SS Target 10 when the DW price went out of my range.  Really happy with the Kimber.  That makes 3.

Welcome to the forum cmemiss!

The Kimber makes a nice 10mm platform as it offers more chamber support than any other 10mm semi-auto platform I know of.  Eats nuclear level 10mm loads with ease. 8)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Good to know.  You guys run a nice board, I've been lurking for a while now.
