I sold the Glock 29 that I've been carrying for a while now. Last week I picked up a XDm 3.8 Elite 10mm. I already like it better than the Glock and as of yet have not shot it. Seems Springfield doesn't carry a plate for the Holosun 407k/507k and am having to wait for one from C&H Precision.

Speaking of C&H, got a call from them today about my order. Seems the plates they had in stock were messed up during g machining and they are having to make a special run for those on order. They also wanted permission to cerakote the plate black instead of anodizing. This was to keep from having to delay shipping 2-3 weeks as they don't anodize in house.
It is nice to be kept informed instead of wondering why shipping is taking so long. Will do more business with them in the future for this reason.

I have mine set up with a 507 also and like you sold my 29. I could not be happier with this combination. No regrets.

I got the 407 since I could get it with a 6moa dot. I don't care about the circle the 507 offers.

I did the exact same thing a few months ago.
I had a G29 that I carried in the woods on my hog hunting land. It was handy if I ran into a hog while scouting, riding ATV or filling feeders.

It also served as a CCW driving to and from camp and when I was sleeping or hanging out in our little camper. There is no one around for a long way.
It was a good gun but never warmed to it and after reading a side by side comparison in a Gun mag, I sold the G29 and bought the XDM Elite 3.8 also in 10mm.

I liked it first time I shot it. It seemed to fill my hand better and have less recoil.

I had a Burris FF# in the safe so I ordered the plate and installed it.

Very accurate with Handloaded 180 gr Hornady XTP's!
