Commander sized 10mm with Ed Brown Cobra Cut.

Yeah.  This looks really nifty.

I have never seen one in the wild though.  Looks like the 45 ACP and 9mm versions of this go for about $1,000 in the wild.

It?s supposed to be a Shot Show release. Fingers crossed. As the MSRP is $799, I figure it will eventually go for the mid to high $600 range. I?ve seen their full size 10mm around $610 locally.

I have their USGI model and it is a very solid gun so far.  I have about 800-1000 down the pipe for that.

Add an optics cut and that would dang near be my do everything dream gun!

Probably going to end up with one of these. Wish it was a lightweight though

Wonder when we will see this one for sale

I wonder if we can trust the quality level?

Based on my sample of 1, yes.  That seems to be backed up by most of the reviews I have seen online.

I have had two issues with my USGI version.  First, it will not feed SWC ammo that is loaded even a tiny bit over list COAL. More specifically, it feeds fine, but the throat is too short for the action to full close. Not a big deal, I just watch my COAL to ensure I am within spec.

The second issue is a failure to fully return to battery.  It occurs when the gun gets 200-300 rounds through it and is resolved by adding some lubrication, specifically to the top of the disconnector and the slide rails.  The gun is quite tightly fitted and I think it just needs some run-in.  A bump to the back of the slide gets the gun fully into battery.

One final item I didn't like about mine:  The tail of the grip safety needed the edges softened or it would cut by baby soft hands.  I just took a round file to it for a couple strokes and the issue was solved.

The overall fit and finish of the gun is higher than my CMP USGI Remington Rand and DSE 1911.  The Tisas does have some MIM parts, but so far, about 700-800 rounds, no issues at all with those.

In my experience -- two 1911s in .45 ACP --Tisas has it dialed in.

According to a recent post by Tisas, we should see this in May. I just picked up the D10 model, and it's a hell of a lot of gun for the money based on features and internals. I detail stripped it as soon as I got it home, and not a single MIM part to be found. Very nicely finished inside and out. I installed a flat bottom firing pin stop and a Wilson flat wire recoil spring and short guide rod set and it's running fine. I'm definitely picking up the Yukon when it gets released.

I have now owned 2 DW VBOBS in 10. Still have 1. I find it incredibly enjoyable to shoot. No plans to sell it. Id really like to see someone make a shorter barreled version.

I have no plans to buy the Tisas (I'm a bit "gun-shy" with Turkish guns after my Girsan POS debacle), but I definitely am interested in how the YUKON shakes out.

Maybe, with the recent proliferation of DS 1911's, someone can make a Double Stack 3.5" 2011?

Anyhow, keep the info rolling on the YUKON.

I also have no intention to buy a Yukon Carry.  But, my experience with my Tisas USGI clone has been out of this world positive.  The only issue I have had is the gun won't eat a 215 gr cast SWC that is seated long even by .005".  But, out of spec ammo is out of spec and I can't blame a gun for that. All the other feedback I have seen is similar.

If I needed/wanted this spec of gun, I would buy a Tisas without reservation.  I am with terdog though...I won't touch a Girsan product.  The internet reports are not great either.  For every neutral review or comment I see, I see five or six negative experiences.
