My High Point 1095TS carbine has run perfectly from day one. It?s not much to look at and is relatively heavy, but for the price, it?s been fantastic, just wish they would have made it to accept Glock mags

Ironically, having a Hi-Point poverty pony in 10mm somehow completely legitimizes the 10mm as a mainstream cartridge!  If Hi Point is going to make it, it's not a niche cartridge anymore.

On the other end of the spectrum it is rumored that Phoenix Arms is going to start chambering their Drake in 10mm in the future.

I own one of their Redbacks and have handled one of the Drakes.  I have a Drake in 9mm coming.  Phoenix makes about the nicest handguns available in my opinion.

Pricing on the Drake is up there as a competition piece.  It will be interesting to see see if the 10mm version makes it to market here.

I agree, the Drake and the Redback are both built as high end competition firearms and priced accordingly.

The Drake was originally just going to be a 40 S&W as that caliber is very popular in European Competitions.  I think they brought out the 9mm for the U.S. market.  I do not know how popular a high end 10mm would be in Europe, I know their market is quite a bit different from ours.

The importer of the Drake told me that the factory people in Switzerland are telling them that the Drakes are turning out sub 1 1/2" groups at 50 meters.

The Drake is a nice looking weapon, but a bit out of my price range

Hi-Point is an interesting company, for as much as they are bashed, it sounds like some of their products, other than their carbines run really well, one being their JHP .45 auto, or so I?m told. It?s pretty neat that folks on a really tight budget are able to get into the shooting sport, as well as being able to defend themselves and their families. Yes, my Sig P220 Elite 10mm is one of my favorites, but a few of my budget guns like the Hi-Point1095TS, Sarsilmaz SAR9, Taurus GX4, and the Turkish made Winchester SXP Defender have not only proven to be as reliable as my Glocks and Springfields, but are also a ton of fun to shoot, all at a fraction of the price

lol that doesn't mean if one showed up in 10mm that would not give it a second look.

You say that like it's a bad thing or somethin'

If any of you are still looking for a Highpoint 1095, PM me.  I just bought a TNW Aero survival rifle in 10 mm so I will be selling my highpoint.
