Looks as though Hi Point will finally enter the 10mm pistol market with the JXP 10. It's bulky but it can handle some hotter loads. It comes with a threaded barrel, and it uses the same mags as the carbine (i wish they would make some mags that hold more than just a measly 10 rds for use in the carbine). I might just get one for the hell of it.

It will be interesting to see just how well it works and handles heavy 10mm loadings...

I wouldn?t own one.  Wouldn?t shoot one, or be near anyone doing so.  And boy, is it ugly!

I'd like to know how the spent casings will turn out. And if anything this pistol would be good for load testing/chrono. Less costly than a damaged 1006, DE, etc.

According to one video, the MSRP is $220.00, so what, maybe $175.00 after things settle down a bit. If it runs as well as my 1095TS carbine which it likely does not, it might be worth the gamble, plus the mags are interchangeable with my carbine. I?ve never owned a HP pistol, so who knows

I have several Hi points. Shoot great, ugly yes but the weight helps with recoil. Make great truck guns.  I will be getting one when Ican.

I will have one as soon as they are available.

Tfbtv ran one with a couple of ok factory loads with no issues.  I am not buying one, but it appears they are a typical hi point:. Ugly, cheap and hard working.

Absolutely, I asked on a HP group, which HP do they believe is potentially the most reliable of all their models offered, the general consensus was the JHP .45. I?ve not shot or held any of Hi-Points pistols, but would like to try one sometime.

They feel like a "pot metal" and plastic toy guns.  They shoot clunky and heavy, like guns in my dreams always work.

The Hi-Point firearms depend on "pot metal", castings.  I see the 10mm handguns will weigh in at 43 Ozs.  Anyone investing in these pistols should stay with low pressure loads.
Some time ago I picked up a Hi-Point carbine .40 S&W caliber.  I began loading the heavy rifle with light loads and working up. I was some what surprised when just over a Max load the bolt was blown out. The Hi-Point firearms are made from castings dependent on weight to fire rounds. I intend to get a Hi-Point 10mm and load until it blows out.. These are not dependable SIG or Colt firearms.
I have at this time 20@ 10mm handguns. I usually test and sell 5 of these after testing. This allows 5 new 10mm pistols each month. That is now when I can get any new handguns.

Thanks for the heads up, they all claim to be plus P rated if I understand correctly. My 1095TS Carbine handles my hot Underwood and hand loads without issue?so far 😀
