RCBS and their excellent CS and warranty

Just spoke with the RCBS customer service folks regarding my ChargeMaster 1500 scale that just quit after 14 months. She said that it?s out of warranty, but said don?t worry about it, she gave me a case number and said we will send you out a new one once we receive the defective one. With customer support and warranty work like that, I?m very happy to buy their equipment.

In the early 90s I rebuilt the kiln they use for heat treating the dies. Got a free set of 38/40 dies because the first run there is some contamination from the ceramic tiles we installed causes them to discolor. We knew this would happen so they asked if we wanted any made   So I have a set that are a medium grey color. Work just fine though.
You can't fix stupid but you can numb it for a while with a 2X4

That?s awesome, I knew they had great support, but after talking the the CS lady, it affirmed just how great they do things. It?s like she wanted to listen and help, a very rare thing these days

I came across a neglected Rock Chucker in a swap meet that was missing priming parts.  Called RCBS to order parts and the CS guy refused to take my CC even though I explained the situation.  He sent me the parts at no charge.  Talk about being a customer for life.  Great CS, indeed!

So many places either give you the crook look, thinking you are trying to pull a fast one, or just looking to get something for free. As long as they offer what I?m in need of, they?ll get my business every time

RCBS called today regarding the Chargemaster 1500 I sent in for repair or replacement. It turns out there was something funky with the AC adapter, and works as designed with a different one. The guy said he?d never seen something like this caused by the power adapter, and that it would ship out today, just great folks to work with.

I had/have a Lyman 1200 DPS. The first one crapped out on me after warranty and was given a discount on a new one but still had to pay a sizable sum! If this one goes out, I will definitely go to the RCBS!

When I first called looking into to send it in, I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes. Yesterday is when the scale tech actually called me, which really surprised me. I?m just glad I pursued it, or would have had to drop a bunch on a new one
